Nokia and Apple Have Reached an Agreement Licensing. Nokia against Apple‘s claims, including allegations of patent infringement touch interface, Caller ID, 3G, backlight and wi-fi technology. Apple also claims that Nokia has violated many of his patents. Both sides will continue to deny the other statement.
Previously, Nokia sued Apple for patent infringement in 2009 and expanded action in December last year. Apple has countersued, accusing Motorola violated the patent. Nokia said that Apple has approved a lump sum, that amount was not disclosed, and ongoing royalties to use the technology. Apple said the agreement covers patents from both companies.

Late last month, Nokia said the estimated sales and profit margin for the current quarter well below previous estimates. The company has struggled to position itself in rapid growth in the smartphone sector, which tries to regain ground lost to competitors such as Apple‘s iPhone and Google Android OS.
Finally, Nokia and Apple have reached an agreement licensing the technology to end a long legal dispute between two companies. This agreement will result in settlement of all patent litigation between the company, Nokia said (bbc). This is the first positive news from Nokia for a long time. Both can focus on your business now, and the dispute is resolved in support of Nokia, said Inder Mikael Rautanen research group in Helsinki.
