Hugo Chavez Said That He Had Cancerous Tumors Removed

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez said that he had cancerous tumors removed, ending weeks of speculation about his condition and not unprecedented public life. “This study confirms the presence of tumors in cancer cells,” Chavez said in a televised speech from his first taken to a hospital in Cuba three weeks ago.

The first exposure to the real gravity of his condition, Hugo Chavez said the first surgery in the treatment of an abscess was found cancerous tumors and a second surgery may be needed to kill cancer cells. He did not disclose that the tumor is or has seen what kind of cancer.

In an emotional speech night, broadcast live in Venezuela, Hugo Chavez expressed his hope for a full recovery and identifies a “fundamental error” to ignore health for years. Dozens of government supporters took to the streets of Caracas to show their solidarity with the president of the sick.
